今天，我和小伙伴们一起在小区里学雷锋，做了一件好事：义务捡垃圾！
一大早，我们几个人在小区池塘集合。池塘里到处漂着塑料袋、易拉罐和废纸，还有几条鱼的尸体，散发出一阵恶臭！我们强忍着臭味，用竹竿一下一下将垃圾提上来，再放入事先准备好的废旧袋子里。捡了半个多小时，我们终于把池塘的垃圾“大军”给消灭了。水里的小蝌蚪也欢快地游来游去，仿佛在向我们致谢！
草坪上的垃圾军队也很庞大！果皮、烟蒂、纸屑都耀武扬威地看着我们，好像在挑衅：“你们敢捡我们吗？”我们用塑料袋把垃圾都捡了起来，半晌功夫才捡完。我们几个也都累得瘫在椅子上。不过，我们此时的心情就跟雷锋做好事时的心情一样：虽然非常累，但是很快乐！
捡拾垃圾虽然看似不是一件好事，但至少减轻了环卫工们的负担。他们每天都要起得很早来打扫小区，很累很累！我们捡一个垃圾，不就让环卫工们少弯一下腰吗！
很多人都说：“雷锋出差一千里，好事做了一火车！”我们虽然没有像雷锋那样做了很多好事，但是都有一个共同点：这些事很小！很多人都认为，这些事很微不足道，就不去做了。其实不是！

雷锋在不满七岁时就成了孤儿。本家的六叔奶奶收养了他。他为了帮助六叔奶奶家， 常常去上山砍柴，可是，当地的柴山都被有钱人家霸占了，不许穷人去砍柴。雷锋有一天到蛇形山砍柴，被徐家地主婆看见了，这个地主婆。指着雷锋破口大骂，并抢走了柴刀，雷锋哭喊着要夺回砍柴刀，那地主婆竟举起刀在雷锋的左手背上边连砍三刀。鲜血顺着手指滴落在山路上…
还有个雷锋叔叔学习的`故事。一天，在电影院里，电影还没开演。一个姓贾的小学生发现前排座位上有个解放军叔叔正在聚精会神地看书，觉得挺奇怪：电影马上就要开演了，怎么还在看书？小学生探头一看，原来是雷锋叔叔。雷锋是他们学校的校外辅导员。“雷锋叔叔，这么一点时间，你还看书啊？”：小学生非常好奇地问。雷锋说：“时间短吗？我已经看了三、四页了。时间短，可是看一页算一页，积少成多嘛！学习，不抓紧时间不行啊！”雷锋问小贾：“你对学习抓得紧吗？”小贾不好意思地答道：“不紧！”雷锋亲切地说：“不抓紧可不好。你们在学校里学习，太幸福了。一定要认真地学。”

2月28日上午9：30分在社区门前举办大型学习雷锋纪念活动。高立的彩虹门上标明今日的活动主题“继承弘扬雷锋精神，提升居民道德素质”。在社区门前设立了学雷锋一条街，以欢快的锣鼓开场，唤醒大家学习的心灵。参与做好事人员有社区的共建单位“顶尖发艺”专业的美发师大宝师傅；社区内诊所史大夫；修车王师傅；配钥匙刘师傅；放电影的车师傅。为大家供给一系列的免费项目，吸引了众多百姓驻足围观。大家在这条街上经过这些活动不仅仅受到了帮忙，并且观看了关于雷锋同志的.电影，又一次让雷锋同志在我们的眼前生动的展现，有许多小朋友也加入到观看影片中来，看后纷纷囔着要向雷锋叔叔学习，做一个象雷锋叔叔一样的人。
经过一天的宣传活动，社区志愿者协会以此为契机招募了23名志愿者，史大夫免费测量血压36人，顶尖发艺理发师免费理发17人，王师傅修理自行车、电动车，免费打气20余台次。配钥匙的刘师傅自带机器为大家免费配钥匙300多把。老百姓们都夸奖刘师傅钥匙配得好，以前在别处配的钥匙回家开门都不太好用，刘师傅是用卡尺校准的，提高钥匙的精确度，今日又逢免费配钥匙，吸引了很多的居民。

雷锋精神并不是不可企及、高高在上的。他的一生，没有惊天动地的壮举，支撑他伟岸形象的.基石，就是从小事做起，从点滴做起。他的高风亮节是在平凡岗位上通过一件件细微小事反映出来的；他的是非观、荣辱观、苦乐观，都是普通人经常遇到和需要解决的问题，他的模范行为和先进事迹不是可望不可及，而是人人可以学，人人经过努力都可以做到。
